UPDATED Customer Policies

As a qualified beauty therapist and makeup artist I believe hygiene, disinfection, sterilization and sanitation and the protection of our clients is at the core of our learnings. Due to Covid-19, as a self-employed business owner, I have taken this time to adopt extra safety precautions and placed even greater emphasis on sanitization protocols for my business practices.

This includes; completing two different BARBACIDE certifications, receiving training and understanding of proper sanitation and disinfection practices and procedures consistent with the current highest industry standards. I also completed the BARBACIDE COVID-19 Certification for the Professional Beauty Industry training. I also achieved a Certificate committed to health and safety; a 2-hour online INFECTION CONTROL course with Milady, a trusted brand in beauty education.

Additionally, I completed a course with Health Services Training Ireland, a COVID-19 Compliance for Professional Makeup Artists, an online course providing training and guidance on the management and control of COVID-19 in work.

I have completed numerous webinars including Responding to Government Protocols for Beauty Salons, Spas and Makeup Artists  – with Image Skillnet and also Covid-19 Reopening Hair and Beauty Businesses with the Local Enterprise Board. I have also become a member of HABIC (The Hair and Beauty Industry Council) helping to provide industry specific and relevant information for my business adapting to the “new norm” .

Following the RETURN TO WORK SAFELY PROTOCOL and monitoring the most official Public Health Advice and guidance from the Department of Health, I have adapted additional safety precautions to protect the health and well being of you during your appointment.

Before your appointment you will receive a PDF appointment checklist. At your appointment, you will be asked to sign a Contact Tracing Form and a COVID-19 waiver form. For bridal bookings, prior to your bridal trial you will receive the same, in addition, prior to your wedding morning, you will receive a PDF bridal morning checklist. I would ask that all clients read over the guidelines sent to you carefully to ensure there are no surprises for your appointment, whether it be a makeup application, lesson, beauty treatment or on the morning of your wedding.
